With the weather finally starting to warm up, it’s a great time to check out all of the events that are happening around Chicago in May!

Just a few of these events include the Chicago Critics Film Festival at the Music Box Theatre, which will showcase over 40 different films; and the Dragon Lights Festival, which will illuminate Soldier Field with thousands of handcrafted light sculptures.

One event we always look forward to is Bike The Drive. Every Memorial Day Sunday, Lake Shore Drive is closed to vehicular traffic for five hours and opened up to cyclists of all ages. The entire round-trip route spans 30 miles – so whether you’re new to biking or a seasoned veteran, you’ll find Bike the Drive an event to remember.
